February 16, 2011

W… W… W… Wednesdays are hosted by MizB at Should be Reading and asks the following three questions:

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My Answers …

What are you currently reading?

I am halfway through The Abyss A Novel by Marguerite Yourcenar.

The Abyss

Excerpt from Goodreads:

Marguerite Yourcenar instantly assumes command of our imagination in her novel The Abyss. Almost before we know it the author establishes a scene and time, and engages us in the fate of two cousins.

What did you recently finish reading?

So Vast the Prison by Assia Djebar –> Review can be found HERE

So Vast the Prison

and The Birth House by Ami McKay –> Review can be found HERE

The Birth House

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m planning on reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman next.

American Gods

Excerpt from Goodreads:

American Gods is Neil Gaiman’s best and most ambitious novel yet, a scary, strange, and hallucinogenic road-trip story wrapped around a deep examination of the American spirit. Gaiman tackles everything from the onslaught of the information age to the meaning of death, but he doesn’t sacrifice the razor-sharp plotting and narrative style he’s been delivering since his Sandman days.
